Missoula’s Loose Caboose expanding

MISSOULA –

The Loose Caboose is typically a drive-up coffee experience, but it’ll soon be adding a sit down cafe to Missoula that comes with a twist.

A seven year employee will be the new co-owner and creative force behind the new experience.

“Alice In Wonderland whimsical meets Industrial Steampunk style, so we’re hoping that people come in just see the café and…also for the coffee and the experience,” Megan O’Dell said.

The Polley’s Square developments in the Old Sawmill District are adding hundreds of residences and the dog and bicycle cafe will be the first commercial tenant in the new complex.

They will have a bakery and serve soups, salads, and light lunches.

“A coffee shop is always sort of a central, social place, where people can get together and have conversations. You know, I want it to be a little focal point in this community,” explained co-owner Malcom Lowe.

The new cafe hopes to open its doors in early August.
